Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 29, 2026

This policy explains what ECODATA collects, why it is used, how it is protected, and the choices available to you.

Introduction

ECODATA provides economic-data discovery, export, analysis, account, membership, and support services. By using the platform, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide and limited technical information required to operate and secure the service.

  • Account information such as email address, display name, password hash, role, language, and membership status.
  • Payment order, reconciliation, and invoice records. ECODATA does not store online-banking credentials.
  • Support requests and content you submit through contact forms.
  • Security and usage records such as IP address, browser, access time, export requests, and analysis jobs.

2. How We Use Information

  • Authenticate accounts and enforce role, membership, quota, and artifact ownership rules.
  • Deliver data, exports, econometric analysis, transactional email, support, payment reconciliation, and invoices.
  • Detect abuse, investigate incidents, improve reliability, and meet applicable record-keeping obligations.

3. Service Providers and Disclosure

We do not sell personal information. Data is disclosed only when needed to operate the service, comply with law, or protect users and the platform.

  • Casso and, when enabled, SePay support bank-transfer reconciliation. Your bank handles the transfer itself.
  • SMTP/email providers deliver transactional messages.
  • Google services are used only for features you choose, such as Google sign-in or authorized Drive access.
  • Public data providers receive data requests but are not sent your ECODATA account profile unless a feature explicitly requires it.

4. Security

We use HTTPS, password hashing, access controls, audit logging, isolated artifacts, and operational monitoring. No internet service can guarantee absolute security; report suspected misuse through the contact form.

5. Retention

Records are retained only while needed for service delivery, security, dispute resolution, backup recovery, and legal or financial obligations. Retention periods vary by record type. Export and analysis artifacts may expire earlier than account records.

6. Your Choices and Rights

  • Review and correct account information.
  • Request access to or deletion of eligible personal information.
  • Cancel membership access according to the applicable plan terms.
  • Contact us to object to or ask questions about a specific processing activity.

7. Hosting and International Access

ECODATA is operated from Vietnam. Users accessing the service from another jurisdiction should understand that information may be processed in Vietnam and by configured service providers.

8. Policy Changes

Material updates will be published on this page with a revised date. Continued use after an update is subject to the updated policy.

9. Contact

Use the ECODATA contact form for privacy, account, security, or deletion requests so the request can be tracked and routed securely.
