Membership payments

Your payment flow depends on whether you request an electronic invoice. Always verify the recipient account, amount and transfer memo shown on the order.

Payment without an invoice

  1. 1Sign in, open Checkout and select the membership plan you need.
  2. 2Leave “Request electronic invoice” unchecked. EcoData shows only the Personal account and its matching QR code.
  3. 3Transfer the exact amount with the order memo. You may upload the receipt and then select “I have transferred”.
  4. 4The payment remains Pending while reconciliation runs. Once matched successfully, the plan is activated and a confirmation email is sent to you.

Payment with an electronic invoice

  1. 1Select “Request electronic invoice”, choose the buyer type and complete the invoice details.
  2. 2Review the details before creating the order. Company, Individual and Foreigner buyers all see only the Business account.
  3. 3Transfer the exact amount with the order memo to the displayed Business account. Do not transfer to the Personal account.
  4. 4Upload the transfer receipt, which is required, and select “I have transferred”. The payment stays Pending because the Business account has no automatic reconciliation connector.
  5. 5After the responsible team reviews and confirms it manually, the plan is activated, a confirmation email is sent and the invoice request enters the issuance workflow.

Status and membership term

PendingThe transfer has not been matched or its receipt is awaiting review
SuccessThe payment is confirmed and the membership has been activated
Start dateThe successful payment or activation time, not the order creation time
UpgradeWhen moving from a lower to a higher plan, the unused value of the lower plan is converted into additional days on the new plan

Retry a pending payment

  1. 1If your latest payment is Pending, open the Membership Dashboard and select “Pay again”.
  2. 2EcoData restores the plan and saved invoice details; you must still review and confirm them before creating a new order.
  3. 3Once the new order is created successfully, the previous pending order is cancelled and superseded to prevent two plans from being activated.

Opening the retry checkout without creating a new order does not change your current pending payment.

EcoData retrieval toolkit

Use the client toolkit when you need EcoData inside your research software, not only as a browser export. All clients call the same /api/v1/sdmx API and require a personal API key.

Create and protect the API key

  1. 1Open Dashboard > API Access and create a key named after the research project or software client.
  2. 2Copy the full key once and store it in an environment variable, ~/.ecodata, Office task pane storage, or a secure password manager.
  3. 3Revoke the key from the dashboard when a project ends, a device is lost, or a collaborator no longer needs access.

Choose the dataflow

  • MACRO_INTL for international macro indicators by indicator, country, and frequency.
  • GSO_VN for Vietnam GSO indicators by indicator, province, dataset, and frequency.
  • CUSTOMS_VN for import-export panels by province, flow, measure, and frequency.
  • STOCK_VN for Vietnam market series by symbol, metric, and frequency.

Run the client in your software

Python, R, and Stata core clients have passed production live smokes with real data. Stata and Excel have self-hosted routes. PyPI, CRAN, SSC, AppSource, and manual Excel runtime gates remain separate release steps where noted.

Python

R

Core verified; CRAN pending

install.packages("ecodata_0.1.0.tar.gz", repos = NULL, type = "source")
  1. 1Set options(ecodata.api_key=...) or ECODATA_API_KEY.
  2. 2Use eco_dataflows() and eco_search_indicators() before querying a series.
  3. 3Call eco_series(...) to return a tidy tibble with TIME_PERIOD and OBS_VALUE.
eco_series("MACRO_INTL", indicator = "NY.GDP.MKTP.CD", ref_area = c("VNM", "USA"), freq = "A", start = 2010)
